Welcome to my blog!

I am so excited to be opening up my home and life to you all, and to have this platform to share some of my favorite recipes, Maine traditions, adventures in homesteading, and more! Before we get to all that though, let me share with you a little bit about myself; 

I was born and raised in Downeast Maine and have a true love and knowledge of the costal Maine area. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Maine at Machias with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship and a concentration in Marketing. I worked for several years in my field at a private boarding school where I taught photography, videography and their application to marketing. While there I also started my own photography business, which has also become a favorite hobby of mine. I now get to photograph homes as a Realtor, and beautiful Maine scenes on a regular basis.

In 2021 I married my wonderful husband, Tucker. We are excited to now be building our lives together here in Down-East Maine! We both love all the wonderful adventures to be had in this area, picking blueberries, exploring new places, hunting, fishing, and so much more! This year we are adding 15 new chickens to our flock and trying our hand at maple syrup making.
